Warriors vs. Celtics predictions: Pick against the spread, over/under for 2022 NBA Finals Game 6

The Golden State Warriors will look to wrap up the 2022 NBA Finals tonight as they return to Boston with a 3-2 lead in the series. The Warriors won Game 5 down the line as the Celtics couldn’t keep up and Golden State ended in a 104-94 win. Thursday’s potential final game will wrap up at 9 p.m. ET at the TD Garden in Boston.

The Celtics go into this game as a four-point favorite, priced at -170 on the moneyline at DraftKings Sportsbook. The total is set at 210.5.

Warriors vs. Celtics, 9:00 p.m. ET

Choose ATS: Celtics -4

The Celtics have their backs to the wall and need a win if they want to lead this series into Game 7. They will be in front of their home crowd at TD Garden where they managed a 16-point win in Game 3 to lead the series 2-1. They have now suffered back-to-back defeats, including one at home, and will throw everything they have on the floor tonight hoping to stay alive.

While the Warriors could possibly win and end the streak, the Celtics will be itching to be back in front of their home crowd that could help them to a Game 6 win. Jayson Tatum performed well at the Chase Center in Game 5, scoring 27 points and grabbing 10 rebounds while Marcus Smart also added 20 points to the total. It wasn’t enough to overwhelm the Warriors and they’ll need a little more help from the likes of Jaylen Brown and Al Horford on their home court in Game 6.

I’m leaning towards Tatum and Brown having great performances in Game 6, resulting in a win and coverage for the Celtics to send the series back to the Chase Center for Game 7.

About Below: Over 210.5

Though only two games in the series have surpassed the total, expect this one to reach that mark as the Celtics look to inject some more firepower into their offense. In every game that ended under, one of the teams was stuck in double digits at the final whistle. The Warriors will do everything they can to end the series in Boston, but the Celtics won’t go down without a fight, so I’d expect both teams to go into triple figures and take this over the total.
