Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry is aware of the trash talk he is faced with from Boston Celtics fans in Game 6 of the 2022 NBA Finals at TD Garden on Thursday.

Referring to himself as the “little king,” Curry told reporters on Wednesday that he’s nothing new to trash talk and welcomes the venom he’s receiving from opposing fanbases:

The last time Curry faced the Boston fans in Game 4, he torched the Celtics for 43 points to lead the Warriors to victory. He was visibly more animated than usual, celebrating and leaning forward as he sprayed a barrage of three-pointers.

While fans might be able to put some players out of their game by taunting them, Curry clearly uses their hatred as motivation. Boston fans would do well to direct their trash talk elsewhere on Thursday.
