As the Sacramento Kings front office goes through the long and arduous task of finding a 4th-ranked player in the 2022 NBA draft, several have come through for practice.
The team released a video of the preliminary training sessions. For more information on who’s been looked at by kings, click here.
General Manager Monte McNair and his staff work to rank more than 280 players who have entered the draft.
The draft will take place on June 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The Kings have their own first-round pick and two second-round picks. Their position in the first round will be determined in Tuesday’s NBA draft lottery in Chicago. The Kings struck gold in the NBA draft lottery on Tuesday to pick the No. 4 draft.
They entered the lottery with a 32% chance of finishing in the top four, a 19.7% chance of keeping their position ahead of the lottery in 7th place, and a 34.1% chance of finishing 8th to fall 37 pick and the #49 pick. This number 49 has already had a rough life after being passed around in a series of trades and pick swaps with the Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers and Washington Wizards.
