IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Minnesota Golden Gophers (10-20, 1-5 Big Ten) will face the Iowa Hawkeyes (17-12, 3-3 Big Ten) in their second big ten of the season. With another victory at the conference, the head coach John Anderson will become the first manager in the history of the top ten to beat 600 league victories. The Gophers will play at BTN on Friday at 19:00, followed by B1G + games on Saturday (14:00) and Sunday (13:00).
– Iowa head coach Rick Heller won his 250th match with the Hawkeyes 6-5 over UST on March 21st. Heller is the third historically third winner on the program’s career.
-UI’s pitching staff was hard to hit in the first two months of the season, allowing just 175 hits and blowing up 371 more than 263.1 innings, limiting hitters to an average of 0.187.
