Steve Kerr has one-word response to Celtics fans’ anti-Draymond chants

Given Draymond Green’s antics in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, it was a foregone conclusion that Boston Celtics fans berated him in Game 3 at TD Garden.

Green was greeted with boos of “f— you, Draymond” during the Celtics’ 116-100 win on Wednesday night. This is par for the course for opposing players taking on the villain role in Boston. Just ask Kyrie Irving.

As predictable as these anti-Draymond chants were, Warriors coach Steve Kerr didn’t find them amusing. He was asked about the fans’ reaction to Green after the game.

“Great,” he replied. “Very noble.”

Green, who scored only two points and fouled, shrugged.

“It’s not really my job to respond to them,” he said. “You did what I expected.”

Green and Kerr can expect a similar atmosphere when the C’s host the Warriors for Game 4 on Friday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. ET at the TD Garden.
