After showing off his talents at the NBA Combine, Badgers sophomore guard Johnny Davis is in the middle of meeting and training with various teams across the league ahead of the draft, which will take place later this month.
Sports Illustrated NBA writer Jeremy Woo recently completed a mock draft that voted the La Crosse, Wis. native the No. 6 pick for the Indiana Pacers.
Davis, who was Big Ten Player of the Year, Lute Olson National Player of the Year and a consensus All-American first-team, averaged 19.7 points, 8.2, in 31 games for the Badgers last season rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 steals.
Measuring 6ft 5 and 196 pounds, the second guard is currently projected as a lottery pick in the upcoming NBA draft. If that prediction proves true, Davis will become the first Badger to be selected in the NBA draft lottery since Frank Kaminsky in 2015.
The 2022 NBA Draft will take place on June 23rd. You can read the entire Sports Illustrated 2022 Mock Draft below:
