Oklahoma City wanted a third lottery win and reportedly found a willing partner in the New York Knicks to make it happen.
According to multiple reports, the Thunder agreed to acquire the 11th overall pick that selected French forward Ousmane Dieng from the Knicks in exchange for several first-round picks. New York’s return package will not include the 12th overall winner from Oklahoma City.
Full trade details have not yet been reported.

The trade would result in the Thunder acquiring three lottery talents in the same draft. Oklahoma City selected Chet Holmgren, Gonzaga’s versatile big man, as the second overall pick. They then acquired Deing in reported trade with New York, followed by selection of Santa Clara’s Jalen Williams with the 12th overall pick.
