nobody movie_The exclusive “Nobody” clip shows how they filmed this brutal bus fight

In Nobody“Hutch is a nobody. An overlooked and underappreciated father and husband, he takes life’s humiliations head on and never rocks the boat. But when his daughter loses her beloved Kitty Cat bracelet in a robbery, Hutch reaches a boiling point you knew he had it. What happens when a weakling finally pushes back? Hutch transforms from ordinary father to fearless fighter as he takes his enemies on a wild ride of explosive revenge.”

Bob Odenkirk plays Hutch, and he’s definitely the best thing the movie has to offer (I was a bit disappointed with the movie itself, here’s mine Verification). But in the process, Odenkirk has continued to transform from a comedic actor to a damn fine dramatic actor Better call Saul, he never really did any action until now. And it was important to Odenkirk to do as much of his own action work as possible so we could actually see him fight and kick ass.

One of the film’s opening fight scenes sees Hutch square off against a gang of crooks on a bus, and in the behind-the-scenes video above, Odenkirk, producer David Leitch, director Ilya Naishuller, and stunt coordinator Greg Rementer explain how it all was put together. There’s even footage of the stunt team blocking the scene elsewhere beforehand.
