He admits that “hard” To put so much passion into the films and to let them be critically scrutinized, but he has come to appreciate them more – especially Episode IIIwhat he says is”a really good movie” – now that the generation of children she loved has grown up and been able to express that love. Read his full quote below:

You were a kid when our movies came out. We sort of made them for you, and it was an off-experience making those films. When you enter this world, it’s a big deal. Its scary. These films weren’t very well liked critically…

What we didn’t hear back then was people your age, your generation. These people really love our films now, but it’s taken us 15 years to hear that. It’s really nice, it’s changed… my relationship with Star Wars, so it’s different I guess because of that. We really put our heart and soul into them and they were difficult to make. There was so much green screen and blue screen because George was advancing into this new realm that he designed and was responsible for. He wanted to push the technology to the limit, but that meant we were doing a lot of blue screens and green screens, and it was hard work.

Doing that and being passionate about it and then making sure the films didn’t do very well was really tough. So it’s really nice to have this new relationship with them now. I hadn’t seen them since they came out. In preparation for this show, it was pretty cool to watch again. I like them, episode 3 was a really good movie.

Some of these kids who loved the prequels experienced exactly the same thing as them power awakens Consequence trilogy started 2015.

Art is subjective and nobody needs to necessarily change their mind about the prequels. However, while you revisit the prequels in preparation, consider McGregor’s comments Obi Wan Kenobi perhaps the best way to approach them. The films have clearly managed to capture the imagination of a generation of children, and that’s probably what McGregor’s latest performance aims to do.
