The 2022 NBA Draft is fast approaching with the conclusion of the NBA Finals. The Los Angeles Clippers go into the draft with no first-round pick. They traded the pick for Paul George for the Oklahoma City Thunder. This is one of several picks dealt to George by the Clippers.
The pick ended at the bottom of the lottery, coming in at No. 12. The Clippers acquired George to pair with Kawhi Leonard to help them win a championship. Both stars have been dealing with injuries and are yet to win this elusive championship. It’s hard to pick a winner in this deal right now, especially with the number of draft picks involved and the players not yet in Thunder’s roster. The Clippers have pick #43 in the second round, so they’ll wait a while to make a pick from now on.
