The 1983 Philadelphia 76ers team is certainly an all-timer, not only for its roster of Julius Erving, Moses Malone, Maurice Cheeks, Andrew Toney and a few others, but also for its outstanding journey through the season.

They finished the regular season with a 65-17 record, defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals, and posted a 12-1 record in the postseason. The icing on the cake would be Malone winning MVP.
