Golden State Warriors vs Boston Celtics live online: stats, scores and highlights | Game 6 NBA Finals

Summary of game 5

The Warriors got off to a quick start in the first quarter of Game 5, building a double-digit lead early on. Golden State came from the more physical side and defense dominated from the front. Boston missed their first 12 three-pointers of the game as Andrew Wiggins set the pace for the Warriors with 16 points in the first half. Jayson Tatum led an attack in the third quarter that gave Boston a brief lead, but Jordan Poole’s buzzer beater in the last quarter gave Golden State the lead and momentum going into the final 12 minutes. As so often in this series, the defense decided on Monday evening. Boston was held to just five points in the first seven minutes of the fourth quarter and Wiggins scored 10 of his 26 in that span to secure the 104-94 Game 5 win.
