The Golden State Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics on Thursday night, winning the Finals and ending the NBA season in grand, exciting and triumphant fashion.
This meant the whole team just smiled and cheered.
It also meant neither side would play Sunday night, which would have been the case if the Celtics had leveled the series in Game 6.
That fact didn’t stop Draymond Green from having a little fun on Sunday, however.
Prepare for Game 7 tonight… 🔒in!!! Happy Father’s Day

The controversial Warriors player hopped on Twitter with a hilarious little joke: “Getting ready for Game 7 tonight…” Green said.
That tweet was a scathing reminder to Celtics fans that the streak was over.
Would you expect less from Green even after the win?
Green may have his fourth ring, but there’s no denying that he ran into some serious troubles during those finals.
For the series, Green averaged 6.2 points, 8 rebounds and 6.2 assists.
While those numbers aren’t necessarily terrible, they pale in comparison to what fans have come to expect from him.
His career playoff averages are currently 11.8 points, 9 rebounds and 6.2 assists, meaning he’s definitely doing worse than usual at this point in the season.
However, as the finale progressed, he began to pull things together.
In the last game of the season, he had 12 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists – his best numbers of the season.
Still, one would think Green would remain a little more humble given the challenges he faced.
But that’s just not how Green works: This is a guy who’s never afraid to upset some people, cause controversy, and win over new haters.
Overall, a little joke on Twitter isn’t all that bad.
