The Boston Celtics announced yesterday that they have signed forward Sam Hauser. Per team policy, the terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are very pleased that Sam has chosen to continue his journey with us,” said Brad Stevens, Celtics president of basketball operations. “He has a chance to make a real impression with his size, his feel and his shooting – both standing and moving. He’s hardworking, selfless and competitive – a great combination for a young player.”
Hauser, a 6’8-inch forward, appeared in 26 games for the Celtics in the 2021-22 season when he averaged 2.5 points and 1.1 rebounds in 6.1 minutes per game while shooting 46 .0 percent from the field and 43.2 percent from three shot.
