Celtics hilarious confirm Marcus Smart UNO temper tantrum

Boston Celtics point guard. Marcus Smart is known for his fiery demeanor on the pitch. It’s no surprise that this apparently extends to friendly competitions.

But that’s what his Celtics teammates revealed after Marcus Smart sent a farewell message to those who left Boston over their recent Malcolm Brogdon trade with the Indiana Pacers.

Smart allegedly spoofed for two-time Celtics center Daniel Theis not being able to beat him at any card game:

But Theis responded not long after with two card claims of his own. First, that Marcus Smart cannot survive without a card alliance with Theis to wipe out their other card competitors, Grant Williams and Derrick White. And second, that Smart apparently once stormed out of a UNO game in a fit of rage.

But of course that can all be hearsay. That is, until Celtics forward Grant Williams stepped in to corroborate Theis’ report with a message of his own. He also made sure that beating him and D-White in any card game wasn’t as impressive as Theis imagined.

It seems clear that these Boston Celtics take their card games seriously. With Daniel Theis now gone, it looks like a new seat at the card table has just opened up for one of their more recent acquisitions.

Malcolm Brogdon and Danilo Gallinari have long since established themselves as productive veterans in this league. But her proficiency with cards – and the potential to throw a tantrum in Marcus Smart – remains to be seen.
