(CBS4) – The Colorado Avalanche make their way to Edmonton, Alberta after taking the first homestand of the Western Conference Finals 2-0. But Ball Arena officials don’t want to leave the arena empty for Games 3 and 4, so they’re keeping the Stanley Cup Playoffs alive in Denver with Avalanche Watch parties for Colorado’s Road Warriors.

The Avs playoff run has been great for the fans and has given a nice boost to local businesses as well. Patronage during the Games has served as a game changer for downtown Denver facilities. It was all excitement and #GoAvsGo in the greater area and throughout Colorado.
