Avalanche’s Nazem Kadri considered ‘day-to-day’ at start of Stanley Cup Final

Colorado Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri is considered a daily player, according to head coach Jared Bednar.

The forward has not played since Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against the Edmonton Oilers, where he sustained a thumb injury that required surgery. Kadri Ice skating on Wednesday morning but without a stick.

In 13 games this postseason, Kadri has six goals and 14 points. His contract ends this summer and he is set to become an unrestricted free agent.
