Anthony Edwards thinks Boston will beat Warriors in Finals

Minnesota Timberwolves star and “Hustle” actor Anthony Edwards believes the Boston Celtics will win the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors, and with good reason.

While Edwards is aware of the Warriors’ abilities, he doesn’t think they have what it takes to match the Celtics’ talent. He also noted that Al Horford’s presence should make it difficult for Golden State, especially since the San Francisco franchise is missing a true big man.

“I mean, I love Golden State. I think they’re going to win, but the Celtics have so much – they’ve got Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Al Horf. If Al Horford plays the way he plays, I don’t think the Warriors stand a chance,” Edwards shared in an interview with Collider, taped before the start of the NBA Finals.

Anthony Edwards hits the spot with his comment. While the series is now tied 2-2, it’s worth noting how the Celtics won Games 1 and 3 behind Al Horford and Jaylen Brown. Jayson Tatum has been fickle but imagine what they can achieve once the star striker starts to find his rhythm.

Of course, the Warriors are not an easy opponent. Their championship experience makes them really hard to beat. But if there’s one thing the Celtics have proven, it’s that they have what it takes to win anything, no matter who their opponents are.
