2022 NBA Draft info: How to watch, TV channels, live stream, start time, more

Before Game 2 of the Finals, Jayson Tatum wore Kobe Bryant’s pre-draft workout outfit to practice honoring his childhood hero. Boston probably won’t have the opportunity to pick a player of Tatum and Bryant’s caliber, but anything can happen. Basketball Operations President Brad Stevens has shown determination with his moves so far, and rumor has it the Celtics are one of a handful of teams looking to act by the end of the first round. Even after six games with the Golden State Warriors, if Stevens identifies someone who can add to the Eastern Conference champions, he could pull the trigger on draft night.

The Celtics shared their 2022 first-round picks with Josh Richardson, Romeo Langford and a 2028 pick swap with Derrick White at close of trade. Boston has the rights to two players currently playing abroad: Yam Madar (#47 in 2020) and Juhann Begarin (#45 in 2021). Before Thursday evening they still have #53 in the second round. You can watch the 2022 NBA Draft on Thursday, June 23 at 8 p.m. The Barclays Center in Brooklyn will once again host the newest class of draftees and will be televised live on ABC and ESPN (ESPN will be broadcasting the second round).

The NBA Summer League will be played in Las Vegas two weeks later on July 7th.
